What do I need to start selling on Argetam?

How to place an order?

Both the buyer and seller must agree a price and a public location where the transaction will happen. Please follow our guidelines on how to conduct a transaction safely

 

What happens when I receive an order?

Ensure to check your item that it is as described but most of all, ensure it is working and you are fully satisfied before making a payment

How will I receive my item?

buyer and a seller must agree a method of shipment/postage. We do not provide a delivery service

In what countries can I use Argetam?

Our business is currently limited to Sierra Leone

 

Which languages does Argetam support?

Krio and English

 

What currencies does Argetam work with?

We currently use Leones (Le) and Dollars ($)

 

Can I pay with bank transfer or mobile money?

Some sellers do offer bank transfer or mobile money payment, but this must be confirmed with the seller

 

Q10. I got an error message during the payment process. What should I do?

A.      If you get any error message, please contact our support team who will try to resolve your issue within 24hours, or we will update you when the issue will be resolved if it will take longer than 24hours.

 

Q11. I cannot use a coupon or get discount. What can I do?

If you have any issues with any of our coupons or promotional offers, please contact our customer service team

 

Q12. My order has been closed. When will I get my refund?

A.      Requests for refund is done by the seller. Argetam does not conduct sales or refund on goods. We only provide a platform for buyers and seller to use

 

Q13. How do I use a coupon or discount?

A.      All coupon or promotional offers will carry instructions on how to use it and in conjunction with what other offers they can be used. Please read each coupon or promotional offer instructions

 

Q14. How do I find my account?

A.      You must log into your customer account to be able to view your account details

 

Q15. I have not received my order. What can I do?

A.      Contact the seller and if no response, you may need to get the police involved. Argetam do not do deliveries and each seller is responsible for the items they sell. However, you can report such issues to our customer service, so such seller can be monitored or banned from using our site. Please provide photo and another evidence that will help our investigation

 

Q16. The product I received does not match the description. What can I do?

A.      Contact the seller to resolve the issue as each seller is responsible for the items they sell. However, you can report such issues to our customer service, so such seller can be monitored or banned from using our site. Please provide photo and another evidence that will help our investigation

Q18. How do I get coupons or discounts?

A.      Promotional offers or coupons are done at the discretion of our management team and this will be made public

 

Q19. In what categories of Argetam can I sell?

A.      You can sell anything and everything including goods and services, except things that are prohibited by the laws of Sierra Leone

 

Q20. What is the cost of selling on Argetam?

A.      It is free for a basic user; however, users can buy booster/additional packages based on their needs. Please view our bundles or contact our customer service team

 

Q21. How can I learn how to manage my store on Argetam on my own?

A.      We will be providing videos and webinars to teach sellers on how to manage their stores

 

Q22. What requirements are necessary to register as a seller on Argetam?

A.      You will need your; Name (first name and surname), Mobile number, email address and password.

B.      For business/Corporate account, you will need; Name (first name and surname), Mobile number, email address and password. Activity area, store/business country, store/business city, store address and store/business contact number

Q23. My company is not based in Sierra Leone, can I sell on Argetam?

A.      Yes you can but you must have a way for your customers to be able to receive their goods or services and for them to be able to pay you
